A filter that lives inside Messages
iPhone lets one app help Messages sort texts from unknown senders. Once you pick Junkless in Settings, every new SMS or MMS from a number that isn't in your contacts is checked the moment it arrives.
Spam goes to the Junk folder without a notification. Messages from people you know, and iMessages, are never touched: iOS doesn't show them to any filter app.
What gets filtered
- Scam texts: fake parcel fees, bank and card alerts, tax refunds, fines, account lockouts.
- Unwanted marketing, betting and crypto promotions, loan offers.
- Unsolicited political and mass texts.
- Text bombing: turn on Under attack mode to send everything from unknown numbers to Junk for a while.
Legitimate business texts are sorted too: codes and bank or delivery messages go to Transactions, opt-in offers to Promotions, so your main list stays for people.
Private by design
Junkless classifies messages with a small AI model built into the app, on your iPhone. The text of your messages is not stored and not sent to us, unless you turn on Help improve the filter and share a message you report.
There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. The scam database and model updates are downloaded to your phone; they don't upload anything about your messages.
You stay in control

- Test a message: paste any text to see exactly what the filter decides and why.
- Report from Messages: mark a sender as spam or not spam, and Junkless learns it.
